Review Committee
If the syndic chooses not to lodge a complaint with the Disciplinary Council and you are not satisfied with this decision, you can contact the Review Committee.
The Review Committee is independent of the Office of the Syndic. It consists of three people appointed by the Board of Directors of the Ordre, one of whom is appointed by the Office des professions to represent the public. The Review Committee gives its opinion regarding a syndic’s decision not to lodge a complaint when an inquiry has been requested.
If the Review Committee finds that a complaint is warranted, an ad hoc syndic will be appointed to carry out his own investigation and lodge a complaint with the Disciplinary Council if appropriate.
